Salem Lutheran School is proud to be one of the first Christian schools in the state of Texas having opened our doors in 1853. Long before the city of Tomball was settled, and while Houston was less than 20 years old, pioneers of Salem Lutheran church of Rosehill, had a vision for Christian education. This vision was rooted in a deep faith, sustained by God’s everlasting grace.

Through the decades, hundreds of students have received an education solidly grounded in God’s Word. From a handful of children in 1853, to over 430 students today, Salem continues to serve children from birth through 8th grade. As we look to the future, we see unlimited opportunity to provide strong Christian education to an ever growing community of new families.
